Garth Brooks' next album has a name and a lead single. If you've been paying attention, you've learned about more than half of the songs on Gunslinger (Nov. 25). Taste of Country has been tuned in as the singer himself has shared stories behind eight tracks, including the single and the last song on the album.

This is everything there is to know about Brooks' 11th studio album (so far). Gunslinger will be available on its own Nov. 25, but fans who buy his 10-disc box set will also receive in. That box set is available on Nov. 11 through Target.

The Single:

On Oct. 13 Brooks released "Baby, Let's Lay Down and Dance" as his first single from Gunslinger. The uptempo country-rocker is a funky return to a familiar sound. It tells the story of a man looking for love.

Songwriter Kim Williams died during the writing of the song. Brooks talked about the loss of a longtime friend and co-writer during an interview with Taste of Country.

The Rest of the Songs:

There are eight confirmed songs on Garth Brooks' 11th studio album Gunslinger.

"Baby, Let's Lay Down and Dance" (Kent Blazy, Steve Dorff, Victoria Shaw, Kim Williams, Garth Brooks)
"Whiskey to Wine" (Feat. Trisha Yearwood)
"There's Gotta Be a Honkytonk Somewhere"
"Weekend"
"He Really Loves You"
"Ask Me How I Know" (Mitch Rossell)
"Eighteen"
"Cowboys and Friends" (Brooks, Matt Rossi) *Confirmed final song on 'Gunslinger'

A Hidden Gem:

Brooks says "Eighteen" is a song for his most loyal fans, as it's filled with hidden gems. Many won't understand the meaning of his lyrics, while others will dig into to every word to look for references to the icon's life and career. If there was a theme song for his fan club, Brooks says "Eighteen" would be it.

The Scoop:

Garth Brooks' Gunslinger is available on Nov. 25 as a stand-alone album, or on Nov. 11 as part of his 10-disc box set at Target.
