Keith Urban adds his name to the list of country superstars dumping frigid water on their heads for a good cause.

The 'Somewhere in My Car's singer accepted the challenge to douse himself with ice water as part of the awareness and fundraising campaign on behalf of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. He filmed his chilly ice bath on camera with baseball Hall of Famer, George Brett, who was planning to take the challenge right after the Aussie singer.

By accepting the challenge, Urban joins the likes of Luke Bryan, Blake SheltonJustin Moore and Dierks Bentley ... just to name a small few! For his part, Urban called-out three more big names to take the challenge next -- Tim McGraw, Eric Church and John Mayer.

Urban shot his video in Kansas City, while filming for 'American Idol.' He heads back out on the road for his Raise ‘Em Up Tour with a show on August 15 at the PNC Arts Center in New Jersey.
