Kris Kristofferson's tribute concert continues to add star power. The Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson live concert taping will take place on March 16 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and on Wednesday (Feb. 10) it was announced that Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr., Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Lee Ann Womack and Jack Ingram have been added to the already star-studded lineup.

The all-star concert event pays tribute to the legendary singer-songwriter and actor. Previously announced performers include Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Ryan Bingham, Rosanne Cash, Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, Jamey Johnson, Willie Nelson, Darius Rucker, Trisha Yearwood and Kristofferson himself.

Kristofferson will perform with various artists throughout the evening. Don Was will act as music director of the live concert, and will also lead a backing band for each of the performers.

“A major reason for Kris’ enduring popularity is that he’s always been very honest and open about revealing his inner life,” Was previously said in a press release. “In doing that he has created an incredible body of work that has resonated for decades with millions of listeners. It’s always a deeply moving experience to sing and play his songs.”

“Few musicians have had as profound an impact on music as Kris Kristofferson,” adds Keith Wortman, creator and executive producer of the show. “It’s only fitting that we celebrate his artistry just blocks from where the legend was born with both his friends and contemporaries and those who are continuing his legacy with raw, honest songwriting of their own.”

Recently, a block of tickets has become available for those interested in attending the concert. Ticket start at $75 and are on sale at Ticketmaster.
