LeAnn Rimes has been grilled many times in the media about her eating habits, but that doesn't stop the singer from flaunting the bikini body she says she's worked hard for. Rimes was photographed on the beach in Malibu this past weekend, soaking up some rays, splashing in the water and spending some quality time with husband Eddie Cibrian. In the pictures, the country singer's low-cut bikini bottom shows off a poetic 'Still I Rise' Maya Angelou-inspired tattoo.

The tat, which comes from Angelou's famous poem about slavery, is just one of the ways that Rimes has inked herself with promises and reminders.

Just a few weeks ago, Rimes and Cibrian were spotted at a tattoo booth in Chicago, where the singer was contemplating getting the line “You gave me the courage to be truthful, I promise to give you the comfort to be trustful," -- from Cibrian's wedding vows -- on her ribcage.

Understandably, Rimes gets riled up by all of the accusations that she's got a weight issue. “People are calling me bulimic or anorexic, and these are real issues and diseases -- that I don’t have," she told PEOPLE recently. "I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way."

The hurtful finger pointing has only inspired the singer to face the world and bear all in a bikini, even tweeting a few pictures on her own, in order to prove that she's got no beef with her image.

In our opinion, Rimes' beaming happiness only lends positively to her looks. You go, girl!
