NBC's The Voice season 13 is moving on to the Battle Rounds this week, in which the coaches pit team members against each other in epic duets. Coach Miley Cyrus recruited an advisor she can trust during this delicate time: Namely, her own dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

In a video previewing the two ripping up a duet of Lynyrd Skynyrd's classic "Sweet Home Alabama," Miley noted, "He's been my mentor my whole life, my whole career. There's never been anyone who gives me better advice than my dad."

"When Miley asked me about being an advisor, of course I was honored," said Billy Ray. "I love The Voice -- my life has always been about reaching dreams, and I see a lot of that represented in this show."

As for the other coaches, Adam Levine brought on the newly engaged Joe Jonas to help out. Blake Shelton enlisted trio Rascal Flatts. Jennifer Hudson recruited Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child fame.

Season 13 of The Voice will air on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8PM ET on NBC.
