Miranda Lambert's Pink Pistol boutique in Oklahoma is closed, and the singer is expanding in Texas. Lambert announced the changes on Wednesday (May 25), saying she looks forward to having all of her goods under one roof.

Lambert opened her first Pink Pistol store in Tishomingo, Okla., in November 2012. She lived with husband Blake Shelton in the 3,000-person town at the time. The next year she opened a second store in Lindale, Texas, and would go on to open two other businesses: a no-kill dog shelter called Redemption Ranch and the Ladysmith Bed & Breakfast. Both of these business still operate in Tishomingo today.

The opening of the first Pink Pistol is credited for helping the town of Tishomingo become a "quintessential vision of small-town life" (quote via NonDoc). Improved city planning and funding came at the same time, and while Lambert has downplayed her influence in the past, city leaders have been appreciative of the amount of free publicity they received from her enterprises. Twenty-one new businesses have opened along the town's main street since she broke ground on the first Pink Pistol store.

The new and improved Pink Pistol will be at 120 E North St. in Lindale at the Cannery. The plan is for the new expanded storefront to open in August.

"I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store," Lambert says in a press release.

"Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home."

A release states that having all of her passions and endeavors based in Lindale is a goal. The Muttnation Foundation is based in her hometown already.
