While out on the Platinum Tour, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett got in front of the camera to accept their respective Ice Bucket Challenges, a task which benefits ALS -- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis -- by bringing awareness and donations.

"What's up y'all, this is Thomas Rhett and Miranda Lambert here," Rhett says, as the country songstress chimes in with a quick "hi" -- clearly nervous for what's to come.

"We're doing the Ice Bucket Challenge for a great cause, and we've been called out by some of our buddies," Rhett says as Lambert adds, "Justin Moore and Kip Moore."

Together, they pass the challenge on to Ashley Monroe, Dierks Bentley and one third person they seem really excited to watch get wet, nominating Rhett's father Rhett Akins with a smile.

Instead of pouring the water on themselves, Lambert got the honor of dousing the young country singer, lifting a cooler over his head. However, it was Justin Moore who got the last laugh. The singer -- who was waiting just to Lambert's side -- gets her unexpectedly, soaking her. She and Rhett high five and hug, proud they've done something united for a good cause.

"And that's how you do a great cause -- Ice Bucket Challenge! Woo!" Rhett exclaims, clearly still exhilarated from the water. In addition to taking the viral challenge, participants must donate money to the ALS cause.
