Miranda Lambert Slims Down Two Sizes With Healthy Diet Plan
Miranda Lambert has been feeling great lately, and she credits a change in eating habits. The singer, whose song ‘The House That Built Me’ ranked at No. 1 on our Top 100 Country Songs of 2010 list, has replaced a not-so-healthy snack with a more nutritious option, and she’s said goodbye to carb-heavy foods like potatoes and bread. Since she’s made the transition, she’s reportedly gone down two dress sizes.
“Now instead of Cheetos, I choose almonds,” Lambert tells Us Weekly, adding that meals include “no mayonnaise, no potatoes or bread … really just vegetables and meat.”
Foods like oatmeal and salad are OK on her diet plan, and she’s also been working out regularly, doing circuit training three times a week.
“I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost. I just know people tell me, ‘You look great,'” Lambert says.
Lambert does look lovely, and she’s sure to stun onlookers on 2011’s red carpets, as well as her friends and family when she walks down the aisle to marry fiance Blake Shelton.
