Sundance Head Moves on to 2016 ‘The Voice’ Finals
The country singer has consistently impressed with his performances on the show, turning in one traditionally-based country performance after another over the course of the competition.
Head was revealed as one of the Top 10 finalists early in the show, with Carson Daly announcing him as one of the final singers to move on in the popular reality singing competition. Head will go on to compete in the live Top 10 rounds that begin next week.
Head, coach Blake Shelton, Courtney Harrell and Austin Allsup took the stage next for a Team Blake performance of “The Heart of Rock & Roll" after the news was announced, followed by the revelation that Billy Gilman also made the final 10.
While Gilman has previous radio success to his credit, Head has reality television show experience. He made the Top 16 on American Idol in 2007, but has admitted he blew that opportunity. Since then, Head has cut songs for Universal Motown that were never released, and worked in a machine shop.
