Taylor Swift is nominated for a whopping six awards at the 2013 CMA Awards, and even if she doesn't nab any (which is almost impossible to foresee), she's ensured to go home with one -- the prestigious Pinnacle Award.

The songstress will receive the honor, which recognizes artists who've made a significant impact on the industry, both nationally and internationally, based on their concerts and record sales at levels unique in country music. Additionally, recipients have attained the highest degree of recognition within the broad expanse of music worldwide, having a long-term impact on the appreciation of country music.

If you think that sounds like a daunting task, you're right. There's only been one other recipient, the famous Garth Brooks, who received it in 2005, making Swift will just the second to snatch up this high recognition.

"I can’t think of a better opportunity than country music's biggest night to present an award of this magnitude to an artist of this caliber,” says CMA President of the Board, Ed Hardy.

“I’ve known Taylor since she was 16. She came to my office with her Mom to play her music and I was amazed," he adds. "Taylor’s outstanding career epitomizes the definition of the Pinnacle Award.”

Along with her impressive six 2013 CMA Awards nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, the superstar has an astounding total of 21 CMA Awards nominations and seven wins. She'll grace the stage at least twice at this year's CMAs, once to receive the Pinnacle Award and then to relay an all-star performance of 'Red.'

Although Swift has reached the 'pinnacle' of success in country music and the entertainment industry at the young age of 23, she's not stopping. The songstress is back in the studio, where she's focused on getting more music out to the masses.

The 2013 CMA Awards will kick off Nov. 6 at 8PM ET on ABC.
