Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren are parents — again! The couple welcomed a baby girl, whom they've named Ada James Akins, on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 10:28PM.

"It was truly the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I can't believe that we have two daughters!!" Rhett says in a lengthy Instagram post, which goes on to praise his wife for her perseverance during a long labor. "My wife @laur_akins labored almost 36 hours. She is by far the strongest human being I have ever met and I have a newfound respect for moms around the world. We are so excited that Willa Gray has a baby sister! Thank you Lord and everyone for the prayers."

A post on Lauren's Instagram page reveals more details, like baby's weight; Ada James was 7 lbs., 3 oz. at birth. Mom promises that more pictures are on the way. "She is a miracle and God is so good. Thomas Rhett and I are so I love with her. And Willa Gray is so excited to finally have a baby sister," Lauren says.

This is the couple's second child in just a few months. They brought home their adopted daughter, Willa Gray, in May after a grueling adoption process that took a year, which they called "an emotional roller coaster." By the time they brought her home, they had already learned they were also expecting a biological child. Rhett and Lauren learned the child she was carrying was a girl in February and shared the news online in a sweet gender reveal.

Thomas Rhett Opens Up About Fatherhood Hopes and Fears

Despite a busy 2017 that includes his headlining Home Team Tour and the upcoming release of a new album, Rhett cleared the week prior to his daughter's birth, and he'll have several weeks at home to adjust to his growing family before he drops his much-anticipated third studio album, Life Changes, on Sept. 8. The album's lead single, "Craving You," is a duet with Maren Morris that has already reached No 1, and Rhett recently released a second single titled "Unforgettable."

The album's title track was inspired in part by the changes in Rhett's life since he and Lauren welcomed Willa.

"It’s kind of about my daughter and it’s kinda about a lot of things," Rhett tells Taste of Country. "Basically it goes from me being in college to me being here now and how drastically my life has changed in the last five or six years. And Willa being a huge part of that."

Rhett says many more songs about his family will probably appear on his fourth album.

"The last 20 or so song titles I’ve put in my phone have been about my daughter. I feel like the whole next record is going to be a pretty mushy one about my kids," he admits to the Advocate
