This Top 40 Country Songs for March 2014 list includes three current or former No. 1 hits, but none of them made it to our top spot. That goes to the hottest song in country music -- a song that is selling singles faster than water in the desert.

Miranda Lambert's 'Automatic' shot up the Top 40, finding a home inside the Top 10 in her very first month. Her husband Blake Shelton also had a very good month, landing inside the Top 5. Last month's No. 1 Cole Swindell only drops two spots to No. 3, while Jerrod Niemann and Eric Church make strong showings, as well.

The list of the Top 40 Country Songs for March 2014 is compiled from Billboard chart data and sales figures, in addition to staff opinion and reader feedback.
