William Michael Morgan makes singing "White Christmas" look easy, and it may be. But singing it like this country newcomer sings it takes talent, dedication and patience.

Morgan's cover of the Christmas classic is one you can add to your holiday playlist, perhaps in place of another of the same song by countless country stars past. The way the Mississippi native holds on to each phrase will cause you to turn toward the speakers with an impressed eyebrow raised. There's a little quiver as he softly spreads the song's timeless lyrics like butter on bread.

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas / Just like the ones I used to know / Where the treetops glisten and children listen / To hear sleigh bells in the snow," Morgan sings, the same as every version of "White Christmas."

Piano, steel guitar and a light percussion join him on the full studio version, although his acoustic rendition is just as fine.

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas / With every Christmas card I write / May your days be merry and bright / And may all your Christmases be white."

A jazzy acoustic guitar matches Morgan's understated delivery of this timeless song. If it was performed by a man everyone knew, some may call it a classic. We'll give him a few more years before going there, but it's one to hold close in 2015.

Why Fans Will Love It: Morgan's easy delivery is warm and nuanced. He shows off his talent, without showing off.

Did You Know?: Morgan grew up listening to classic country but since moving Nashville has found an appreciation for other classic vocalists, like Frank Sinatra.
