Can You Guess the Artist in This Yearbook Photo?

This eventual guitar slinger was an '80s country rocker before moving to Nashville. He's sporting quite a collision of styles in this photo -- together, spiked hair, a mullet and a western dress shirt make for an interesting getup that probably wouldn't fly on 2012 red carpets. 

Whether or not this is a true yearbook photo is debatable, but it certainly shows the now-famous country superstar in his formative years, before all of the No. 1 hits, awards and the television show. It's also long before he married his famous wife. We can't help but wonder how she feels about this young gent... That spike is dangerous.
