‘Road to the CMA Awards’ Special to Air Tonight

The 2011 CMA Awards don't take place until Nov. 9, but anticipation for the big event is at an all-time high. The powers that be behind the show are ramping up excitemen,t and it starts this evening! If you want a sneak peek of country music's biggest night, then tune into 'CMA Close Up Presents Road to the CMA Awards,' an interview-packed special that airs on 90 percent of ABC affiliates tonight. It's also scheduled to repeat on the night of the big show.

The half-hour special is jam-packed with interviews featuring Jason Aldean, the Band Perry, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Scotty McCreery and many, many more. It's country music's biggest night, so of course the interviews are with country music's biggest and brightest stars.

The special allows the artists to speak about their favorite CMAs memories, as well as their feelings on being nominated and/or performing on the CMAs stage.

The CMAs will air on Nov. 9 at 8PM ET on ABC, from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as the show's hosts this year.
