No. 74: Ronnie Milsap, ‘What a Difference You’ve Made in My Life’ – Top 100 Country Love Songs
One true sign of a hit is whether or not it becomes a crossover success, which was exactly the case with Ronnie Milsap's 1977 tune, 'What a Difference You've Made in My Life.' The beautiful ballad comes in at No. 74 on our Top 100 Country Love Songs list -- and for good reason.
After its release to the country charts in November of that year, 'What a Difference You've Made in My Life' became Milsap's ninth career No. 1 single. The song was such a hit for the singer that he included it on two albums, including his gospel project, 'Then Sings My Soul.' Amy Grant also made the song a hit in 1977, though that was on the Christian charts.
