Burns and Poe, ‘Second Chance’

Burns and Poe are bringing us their sweet new duet, 'Second Chance,' a song about going back for seconds and trying a failed relationship just one more time.

'Second Chance' tells a familiar story: Two people each tried their hand at other partners, but it always came back to each other, so they decide to go in for the second half of the game.

Keith Burns and Michelle Poe harmonize together like no other in this tune, and we just can't get enough of the ooey-gooey mushiness of the chorus: "If you believe in a second chance, just reach out and take my hand / Within the flames of an old romance / I'll be your girl, and I'll be your man / If you believe in a second chance."

The message in 'Second Chance' is representative of the band's goals, too. They dropped their self-titled debut album this week -- something that had been in the works for two years. When Burns and Poe were finally able to make the record a reality, they came at the country world with a bang, releasing three singles in a short period of time, including this one.

We can't say enough how much we love the simplicity of this heart-warming love story. Oh, and can you say "perfect radio song?" Burns and Poe can.
