While soap operas and talk shows certainly dominated the Daytime Emmy Awards Sunday night (June 16), country music was strongly represented, with Little Big Town and Trisha Yearwood both earning prestigious trophies for daytime entertainment.

Yearwood snatched up an award for Culinary Program, which was actually a tie between Food Network shows 'Best Thing I Ever Made' and the country singer's delicious 'Southern Kitchen,' which is in its third season. Yearwood famous for everything from spoon rolls to deviled eggs, in addition to her country hits such as 'She's in Love With the Boy.'

This has been a great year for Yearwood, as she not only has seen success in her cooking show, but also in her confidence. After losing two dress sizes, she has newfound strength -- and it's infiltrating every aspect of her life.

The LBT foursome took home a trophy for Outstanding Original Song  for 'Good Afternoon,' the theme song for ABC’s 'Good Afternoon America.' When the band found out about their win, they were thrilled, tweeting, "Wow. We just won a#DaytimeEmmy!!!! We're freaking out!!!" The 'Your Side of the Bed' hitmakers have been catapulted to success in the country music scene after years of work, and this gleaming trophy is indicative of their much-deserved win.

Congratulations to both Yearwood and LBT!
