Miranda Lambert caused more than a few heads to turn when she walked the red carpet of the CMT Artists of the Year taping in a form-fitting silver mini-dress and a hairstyle that leaves one wondering if she took another chop at her long locks, or if it's just pushed up.

At the CMA Awards on Nov. 1, Lambert also tied her hair up for the red carpet, but let it flow during her performance of 'Fastest Girl in Town' and later to accept the Song of the Year award for 'Over You.' The singer also performed at the CMT Artists of the Year taping, but kept her hair off her shoulders.

Not lost in these photos is Lambert's dress. She couldn't look more confident as she pulls off the mid-thigh mini with a plunging back. Husband Blake Shelton was in L.A. for 'The Voice' on Monday night, so he wasn't in attendance. If the couple watch the broadcast this weekend, he very well could have her dig it out of the closet for some one-on-one show and tell.

While the CMT Artists of the Year taping was Monday night (Dec. 3) in Franklin, Tenn, the show airs on Saturday night (Dec. 8) on CMT.
