This countdown of albums we can't wait for in 2015 contains six albums from artists working on their first or second project. Six! That means the new music you hear this year will truly be new -- new voices, new ideas, new songwriters and new styles. 2014 was a year for familiar superstars. 2015 is a year for rising stars.

Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney all released new albums last year, leaving them less likely to put out new projects this year. Sure, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan make our list, as does Reba McEntire (Keith Urban may have, but he hasn't as much as hinted 2015 will be his year). But three of the top four spots go to some of the most talented, influential newcomers in country music.

Jake Owen squeezes in at No. 2, but you'll see that his upcoming album promises as much change as Mickey Guyton, country's freshest and most impactful female voice since Taylor Swift (they're nothing alike).
