Blake Shelton will return to the living rooms of millions for a fifth season of NBC's popular reality singing competition, 'The Voice.' Viewers can rest assured that the comedic country crooner will be sitting back in that big red chair, offering his humor and wisdom to contestant hopefuls come fall.

NBC has announced that Shelton, along with original judges Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will return for Season 5 of the hit show. Although the 'Boys 'Round Here' singer hinted last fall that he wasn't sure if he'd continue, it seems that he just can't stay away. Shakira and Usher will return for Season 6, which will air in early 2014.

'The Voice' has been faring well, as it beat out 'American Idol' in the weekly ratings -- clearly a result of in-demand judges. 'Idol,' on the other hand, has seen lots of dispute over their roster of judges, and the future seems rather uncertain for the launching pad of many successful country singers, including Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.

'The Voice' continues to rally, and the Oklahoma-bred Shelton will stay along for the ride. As this season wraps up, and the country star has the taste of victory in his mouth after winning Seasons 2 and 3, you can bet he has high hopes for his all-country team. Go Team Blake!
