When Are the 2014 CMA Awards?

Fans have been anxiously awaiting the next CMA Awards since ... well, since the 2013 CMA Awards ended! Never fear, loyal fans -- the date has finally been set! So, when are the 2014 CMA Awards?

The 48th annual CMA Awards will be held live on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8PM ET, airing on ABC. The event will be hosted -- for the seventh year in a row -- by fan favorites Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. The dynamic duo even played a little trivia during the 2014 CMA Fest to prove they were up to the task.

Last year was George Strait's big year, as he was honored with the coveted Entertainer of the Year award. Blake Shelton took home the most awards, snagging Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year. And with wife Miranda Lambert winning Female Vocalist of the Year, the power couple brought more than a few statues home that night.

The 2014 CMAs will be held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, where they've been hosted since 2006. Nominees and winners are decided by over 7,000 industry professionals who make up the CMA membership.
