If you hang your hat in Nashville and want to check out the GAC taping of this year's Academy of Country Music/Grand Old Opry showcase, then we’ve got terrific news: Tickets are on sale for the general public to purchase today! The GAC’s ACM showcase recognizes six talented newcomers who are the future of the country genre (and are also nominees for the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

The one-night-only taping will be hosted by reigning ACM Top New Artist Luke Bryan, and will take place as an evening of special performances on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 7:30 PM CT at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Top New Solo Vocalist nominees Eric Church, Randy Houser, and Easton Corbin and Top New Vocal Duo or Group nominees the Band Perry, the JaneDear Girls and Steel Magnolia will all be on hand for the celebration. The special won’t air until Thursday, Jan. 27 at 10PM ET on GAC. At that time, fan voting for the Top New Solo Vocalist and Top New Vocal Duo or Group will commence here and here. Voting will run through Thursday, Feb. 24 at Noon ET. The winners will be announced in March and then be upstreamed to compete in the Top New Artist category. The Top New Artist winner will be announced live at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on April 3 on CBS.
