Luke Bryan vs. Taylor Swift – The Showdown

Last week's Taste of Country Showdown between Luke Bryan and the Zac Brown Band started off close, but fans of 'I Don't Want This Night to End' came on strong mid-week and carried Bryan to a victory. This week, he'll try to make it back-to-back wins against the new single from Taylor Swift.

Swift first performed 'Ours' at the 2011 CMA Awards in November. It's a bonus track that until recently was only available to fans who bought the deluxe version of 'Speak Now' in 2010. The song is another love song, one about a relationship of which everyone seems to be critical. Now it faces one of Bryan's biggest singles to date.

Fans of both artists have already proved to have a strong showing in voting for the 2011 Taste of Country Awards, so it should be an interesting competition this week.

Showdown Rules: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and winner goes on to face next week’s challenger. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, he or she will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. We hear they’ve got a great buffet.
