Puss n Boots, ‘Tarnished Angel’ Video [Exclusive Premiere]

Puss n Boots will release their debut album on July 15. The trio includes Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper, three women well-respected as solo artists before teaming up in 2008. Until now, they've only performed live, and fans will get a taste of that experience while watching 'Tarnished Angel,' a video premiering for Taste of Country readers first.

George Jones made 'Tarnished Angel' famous, but it was written by Roger Miller. The song is one of seven covers on 'No Fools, No Fun,' available for pre-order here. Johnny Cash, Neil Young and Wilco are three other artists they selected songs from (Young’s ‘Down by the River’ is the group’s single). There are also five originals.

“We have always thrived on our live performance. We rage onstage,” Dobson says. Look for the women to tour along the east coast throughout the month of July.
