Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood provided at least three "Oh no they didn't!" moments during their opening monologue at the 2013 CMA Awards on Wednesday (Nov. 6). Zac Brown, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough, Obamacare, Keith Urban, 'Duck Dynasty' and the 'evil' Kenny Rogers were all targets. Almost everyone took the jabs with a smile.

The co-hosts began singing 'Why Can't We Be Friends' -- with modified lyrics, of course. Brown's comments about Bryan's song 'That's My Kind of Night' was the first to take a hit, but it worked out brilliantly, with the two singers embracing in a big hug in front of the stage. And we all breathed a big sigh of relief.

Kellie Pickler then handed out "feud assignments." The Gambler and Paisley were to start feuding, so Paisley walked away from the microphone to talk trash. "Kenny Rogers is pure evil," he shouted. Next up: Darius Rucker, who was to start feuding with Julianne Hough. Random? Not if you saw Hough's Halloween costume last month.

After trying to sign up for health insurance (while singing 'Obamacare by Morning,' a take on George Strait's 'Amarillo by Morning'), Paisley and Underwood thanked Swift for growing up with maturity, as opposed to Miley Cyrus, who has been caught twerking and licking hammers in recent months.

"If someone was gonna be caught naked licking a hammer, it would be Blake Shelton," Paisley cracked. The 'Mine Would Be You Singer' laughed out loud and clapped his hands in approval.

After a quick performance with the guys from 'Duck Dynasty,' it was off to the first award presentation, and a costume change for the 'See You Again' songstress. The 2013 CMA Awards are off with a bang!
