New Songs on the Radio

New country songs for the month of May come from a few heavy hitters in country music. Ever since Lady Antebellum's previous hit 'Compass,' fans have been excitedly anticipating the trio's next single, and they didn't disappoint with 'Bartender,' which hit radio this month. The upbeat track is off their forthcoming fifth studio record.

Spring has sprung, and along with all the pollen, budded trees, and singing birds, there are a whole bunch of new country songs on the radio.

March is for March Madness ... and country music. Some of country's biggest stars are debuting brand spankin' new songs on radio for March 2014, making for a very exciting start to spring.

Turn your radios up in February, because there's going to be a ton of new country songs to listen to. Songs from 2014's most anticipated albums are being released this month, including lead singles from projects by Miranda Lambert, Hunter Hayes and Lee Brice. They're far from the only big-name stars with new singles, however.

Garth Brooks returned to the radio in January 2014, but his song 'The Call' is just one of a number high-profile country songs to make their debut.

The year won't end with a whisper. New songs on the radio for December 2013 include first releases from Brantley Gilbert and Jamie Lynn Spears' new albums and the next releases from Chris Young, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban. It will be a big month, even if it's a short month as the music industry shuts down for the holidays.

With the CMA Awards, country superstars seized an opportunity to get their new songs on radio and television in November 2013. Some extra TV time can do wonders for a song's ascent up the radio charts or sales charts. Luke Bryan's 'Drink a Beer' is one example of how the timing can pay off, as after the show, millions were searching for more information.

Lady Antebellum surprised fans with a new song for the radio in October 2013. The trio announced 'Compass' would be available on the November release of the deluxe edition of 'Golden.' It's just one of a growing list of new sounds from country music's biggest stars this month.

Country radio lights up with new songs from superstars like Keith Urban and Hank Williams, Jr. in September 2013. 'We Were Us' is from Urban's new 'Fuse' album. It's a duet with Miranda Lambert that has fans buzzing even louder about the highly-anticipated project. Williams, Jr.'s 'I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink' is also a duet (and a cover).

At least one country music superstar debuted new music in August 2013, while several others released new songs to the radio that had been previously released on albums. Jennifer Nettles, Brad Paisley and the Band Perry lead the way with new songs this month.
