Cute Kids Singing Country Songs – George Jones, ‘White Lightning’

Not only is this little guy singing George Jones, but he's doing so at the request of the Possum himself. Jones bends down to convince the young man to sing his hit 'White Lightning,' which the boy knows like most kids know their ABCs. One gets a real sense of Jones' love and appreciation of the younger singing generations in this video. 

The performance, while brief, is a spot-on version of the 1959 hit song, and the 7-year-old gets a hardy applause from the fan club members he's playing for.
