WWE Icon Mick Foley’s Daughter Reveals Dollywood Injury Sparked Years-Long Medical Nightmare

The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley revealed that an innocent trip to Dollywood set her on a terrifying, years-long medical journey.

Noelle Foley opened up on wrestling star Saraya’s Rulebreakers podcast, explaining that a roller-coaster accident at the Tennessee theme park left her with a concussion and a rare neck condition that continues to affect her life.

‘My Head Hit Really Hard’

“Normally roller-coasters, they go up and they go down and then they fizzle out,” Noelle recalled.

She continued, “This one went up, down and then immediately went back up. It’s like your body is forcing forward and then immediately backwards. My head hit really hard and something happened with my neck.”

At first, she assumed it was just residual pain from her head jerking, icing her head and neck in case of a concussion. But the pain never went away.

“I was just like, ‘This headache is not going away and I’m so sensitive to lights and sound. I feel all weird,’” she explained.

A Five-Year Battle

Months later, Noelle realized she had indeed suffered a concussion. Since then, she’s lived with a constant headache for more than five years.

After seeing “around 50” doctors and physical therapists, she was finally diagnosed with Craniocervical instability — a rare condition caused by torn ligaments in her neck.

“We found out I tore about 10 ligaments in my neck and because of those torn ligaments, it causes my neck to be unstable,” she shared.

Noelle stated, “My head isn’t securely on my neck. Then all your other muscles are overcompensating. So those muscles are probably causing the headaches.”

Searching for Relief

Desperate for answers, Noelle began to suspect her breast implants might also be making her symptoms worse.

She opted to have them removed — but even that was a grueling process.

“They had to scrape it off,” she said of the surgery. “The sides of my boobs were so sore for months.”

For Noelle, the ordeal has been both painful and eye-opening.

“It’s weird, because I was completely fine and completely normal before my concussion,” she reflected.

Noelle added, “Then my concussion happened and it was almost like an avalanche of issues just started after that.”
