Condolences go out to the family and friends of Charlie Daniels Band member Joel 'Taz' DiGregorio, who was killed in a car accident Wednesday night (October 12) just outside of Nashville. Taz, 67, was on his way to bus call late Wednesday when he wrecked his car along I-40 in Cheatham County. The keyboardist died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the single-car accident.

Tommy Crain Memorial Scheduled for Friday in Nashville
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, for friends and family of longtime Charlie Daniels Band guitarist Tommy Crain who passed away last week at age 59.  The gathering will take place at Nashville's rehearsal hall, Soundcheck. The memorial celebration will begin with a visitation starting at 4PM, followed with testimonials and a musical tribute at 5PM.

Charlie Daniels' main barn at his Lebanon, Tenn. ranch has burned to the ground. Neither the country music legend or his wife Hazel were at home when the fire broke out, as they are currently in Durango, Colo. The fire started around 7:30PM last night, and all 11 animals that were in the barn died from the fire.
