He describes it as his most personal album to date, a somewhat obvious assessment as he helped write all 17 songs. His previous record was three. One senses that musically and professionally the singer is just becoming comfortable with sharing his stories, his beliefs and his inner artist.

Josh Gracin wrote or co-wrote 16 of the 17 songs on his new album 'Redemption.' He also co-produced the project. Doing both was a mistake because it takes an experienced hand to scrap high quality material for the betterment of the whole.

Josh Gracin will release his third album in November, and he may have given fans at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut a sneak peek on Sunday night. The 'We Weren't Crazy' singer played a tender new love song for the audience, and he may include it on 'Redemption' when it hits stores on November 1.

Former finalist Josh Gracin tells Taste of Country that there were a lot of rules, but he loved his mansion experience. "I got used to that with the military," the former Marine jokes, "so it was no different for me."
