The Swon Brothers are one of the many country acts who have risen to national prominence after appearing on a reality singing competition. The sibling duo of Zach and Colton Swon began performing as children, playing with their parents' gospel group, and by the time they were 12 and 15, they had formed a duo. They auditioned for 'American Idol' in 2007 and reached the Top 50 before washing out, but it was their run on Blake Shelton's team on 'The Voice' in 2013 that really introduced them to a wider audience. They placed third on the show and signed with Arista afterward, releasing their self-titled debut album in 2014. They released two singles from the album, "Later On and "Pray for You," and parted with Arista in 2015. Most recently they have released a new EP, 'Timeless,' on their own independent record label, and toured extensively with Carrie Underwood.
