Identifying a few of the country stars on this list of Top 10 Yearbook Photos isn't too difficult. After all, artists like Scotty McCreery, Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift aren't that far removed from their education. Things begin to get a little strange for the artists over 30-years-old, however.

Let's be honest, nobody is proud of their old yearbook photos. We all look like dorky, miniature versions of our grown up selves. Perhaps in time we'll be able to appreciate the innocence of those formative years, but for now, yearbook photos are just flat out embarrassing. With that in mind, we dug up the silliest of the silly yearbook photos from some of country music's biggest names.

    Kellie Pickler

Kellie Pickler was a cheerleader and beauty queen at North Stanly High School in New London, N.C. This picture is from her elementary school days, but one can already see a beauty queen in the making. She's always been a natural in front of the camera. This the least embarrassing of all 10 yearbook photos.

Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood

Don't Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood seem like the type of young men you'd be proud to let date your daughter? The boys met at Riverside Middle School in Evans, Ga. and went on to graduate from Lakeside High School. Sadly, we weren't able to find a yearbook photo for the band's third member, Hillary Scott.

    Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is a 2001 graduate of Checotah High School in Checotah, Okla. She was her class salutatorian, and she also played basketball and softball and was on the cheerleading team. Believe it or not, Underwood had given up on her singing dream and was preparing for a career in journalism when 'American Idol' turned her world upside down.

    Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney is a 1986 graduate of Gibbs High School, where he played football and baseball. He wasn't quite the muscular stud-muffin he is today, however. This yearbook photo shows a much slimmer Kenny Chesney, who seems to already be showing signs of a receding hairline. Nice choice of open-collared Izod button-up.

    Faith Hill

Faith Hill's contribution to this list of 10 best country yearbook photos looks like something right out of Glamour Shots. There's little doubt that was the hot look when she graduated from McLaurin High School in the mid-'80s, but tall, short hair-dos have not stood the test of time. There's one other thing that seems off about Hill's (then Audrey Faith Perry) look at age 18. Oh yeah! She wasn't a blonde.

    Scotty McCreery

This photo is from Scotty McCreery's middle school days in Garner, N.C. It's a far cry from the tall, strapping young man he is today ... actually, it's pretty close to the young man he is today. Maybe he's still got a growth spurt coming. McCreery made the most of what God gave him, however -- he was an ace on his high school baseball team's pitching staff and developed a resonate voice that more than makes up for any physical shortcomings.

    Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was homeschooled during the last two years of her high school career, but she did attend Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tenn. for two years prior to that. This picture was likely taken during those early high school years. The corn rows are especially precious.

    Brad Paisley

It took Brad Paisley longer than most to blossom into the beautiful flower he is today. In this picture from his days at John Marshall High School in Glen Dale, W.V., one can clearly see the singer's more mischievous side. He's a little washed out in this black and white photo, though. With his mostly white dress shirt, one's forced to focus on a set of eyebrows that Ernie from 'Sesame Street' would be jealous of.

    Toby Keith

Toby Keith's streak of not smiling seems to have begun prior to his finishing up high school at Moore High School in the late '70s. He does have a great head of hair, though. Fans rarely get a look at his wavy locks these days, as he mostly hides it behind a bandana or cowboy hat on stage.

    Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton graduated high school at age 17 in 1994 and moved to Nashville soon after. This picture confirms he didn't just grow his first mullet because that's what country stars did in the mid-'90s. He was rocking the curly, long hair while joking around in Ada, Okla. We're dying to know who or what Shelton is pointing at. It's likely someone who was on the wrong end of a prank. Oh, and that was nice of Harry Carey to loan him a pair of glasses for this photo.
