Blake Shelton Cruise to Make Multiple Stops in Tropical Paradise
A vacation with one of country music's hottest stars doesn't sound like too shabby of an idea. Next year, Blake Shelton is inviting all of his fans aboard the Norwegian Jewel for an October cruise around the islands in the south Atlantic.
The country star is the headlining performer for the seven-day trip, which sets sail on October 14, 2012 from Miami, Fla. Other artists will be added later, but the website also promises impromptu acoustic sessions on the deck, as well as a songwriter's workshop. There will also be Q&A sessions and a chance to get up-close-and-personal with the stars of the ship. This is in addition to the normal fun and dancing one finds on a cruise!
Packages range from just over $1,000 to close to $4,000 depending on accommodation choices, and include meals and a ton of entertainment, like an on-board version of 'The Voice,' swimming pools, hot-tubs and transportation to the different ports. Shelton's Norwegian Jewel cruise will make stops in Miami, San Juan, Tortola, St. Thomas and Nassau.
Of course one wonders if Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert will be joining him on the cruise, but her website's itinerary doesn't look that far ahead. Perhaps she'll fly in and out at different times to make sure he's behaving himself.
