Collin Raye knew exactly what to sing -- and how to sing it -- back in 1991 when he took his song, 'Love, Me,' all the way to the top of the charts.

The tender love song narrates the touching story of a grandfather telling his grandson about the fairytale romance he once shared with his grandmother, many years before. The song is about the strong bond and promise made to always love each other until the end of time, so it is the perfect fit for our Top 100 Country Love Songs list.

The tune topped the charts for Raye in January of 1992, marking his very first No. 1 hit. The song was the second release from the singer's 'All I Can Be' album, and also received a Song of the Year nomination at the 1992 CMA Awards.
