On Monday, March 21, country stars showed up to celebrate former President George H.W. Bush's career and his contributions to society. Bush Sr. was honored by the Points of Light Institute, which "embraces service and civic engagement as fundamental to a purposeful life and essential to a healthy world."

Several country stars attended the event, which was held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. Carrie Underwood showed up looking ravishing, as usual, in a cream colored gown. Reba McEntire was also in attendance, and the redheaded singer wore a sparkly, black cocktail dress. Garth Brooks, who kept it country by rocking a cowboy hat and jeans, also showed up to honor Bush Sr. Check out these pictures of country singers at the tribute, and to learn more about the ceremony, click here.
