Frankie Ballard's summer is geared up to be a busy one, and now his spring is looking to be the same way!

Besides opening the first leg of Taylor Swift's Speak Now World Tour this summer, the newcomer will also be joining rock legend Bob Seger on the road for a string of dates, starting March 29 in Toledo, Ohio.

"Growing up in Michigan, Bob Seger was as good as Governor!" Ballard says. "To open for such an amazing rock 'n' roll legend is a dream come true. His music is an American treasure. I'm just going to try and keep up!"

The tour with Seger and his Silver Bullet Band runs through April 2 and includes stops in Saginaw, Mich. and Grand Rapids, Mich.
