Frontmen of Country Turn in Hit-Filled Set at Trump Inaugural Concert
The Frontmen of Country took the stage at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., on Thursday afternoon (Jan. 19), performing a set to help welcome President-elect Donald Trump into his new job.
Former Little Texas singer Tim Rushlow teamed with Lonestar singer Richie McDonald and Restless Heart's Larry Stewart as the Frontmen of Country at the Make America Great Again! Welcome Ceremony, one of several events going on over the next few days to celebrate Trump's swearing in as the 45th President of the United States, which takes place on Friday (Jan. 20).
The three singers performed a medley of their biggest hits that included Restless Heart's "The Bluest Eyes in Texas" and "Why Does It Have to Be Wrong or Right," Lonestar's cover of the Marc Cohen classic "Walking in Memphis" and their hit "I'm Already There," and "Amy's Back in Austin" and "God Blessed Texas" from Little Texas. They closed out ith "God Bless the USA," Lee Greenwood's uber-patriotic hit to introduce Greenwood to the stage.
