Jason Aldean kicked off breast cancer awareness month with a sold out show in Roanoke, Va. on Friday night. The stage, audience and artists were draped in pink to celebrate the $315,000 raised for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

"This is one of my favorite things we do all year," Aldean said in a press release. "All of the money we raised will go to the local Roanoke effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can't afford it. We'll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it."

Chris Young and married duo Thompson Square were also on board for the concert. As you'll see in the photos below, everyone from the fans in the back rows to the artists onstage found a way to show their support for the cause. The message didn't overshadow the music, however -- meaning fans had two reasons to feel good about begin there.

"October is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part," Aldean says. "Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!"
