Katie Armiger, ‘Best Song Ever’ – Video Spotlight

Katie Armiger seems poised to make a big splash on the country charts with 'Best Song Ever,' the second single from the young singer's just-released third album 'Confessions of a Nice Girl.'  What's particularly impressive about those numbers is that Armiger is just 19 years old.

The appealingly low-budget video for the song largely features Armiger singing her heart out in front of a series of computer-generated backgrounds, as various music lovers are shown watching her performance on their dashboard-mounted smart phones. (Instead of, say, watching what direction the cars they're all driving are going.)

Safety concerns aside, the upbeat, catchy song, with a decidedly poppy fuzzed-out keyboard running wild throughout, does seem perfect for in-car singalongs.  Just keep both eyes on the road, OK?
