Luke Bryan Meets Special Girl, Soars Through ‘Run Run Rudolph’ at ‘CMA Country Christmas’
Luke Bryan took the stage to soar through a rockin' and rowdy version of 'Run Run Rudolph' during the 'CMA Country Christmas' special on Monday (Dec. 2). But that's not all the superstar did.
Embodying the true giving spirit of Christmas, Bryan met with an adorable little girl named Tatum Libbesmeier from Minnesota beforehand and performed for her in a private concert. Tatum has cancer and her Make-a-Wish dream was to meet her favorite country star, Bryan.
The sweet little girl, who is just 8, sang along with him when he performed 'Crash My Party' behind the scenes. The star also ad-libbed and incorporated her name into the lyrics, which was especially touching.
Bryan also showed Tatum pics of his own kids, since Tatum and his son Tate have the same nickname. Bryan jokingly called the little girl "Tater Tot."
Tatum got to pick out a dress from Macy's and attend the taping of the special. She even introduced Bryan along with host Jennifer Nettles, and the rising superstar wore her bracelet while he performed.
At the end of 'Run Run Rudolph,' Bryan even came down into the crowd to high-five and hug Tatum and her family. We think she probably got all she wanted for Christmas, thanks to Luke Bryan! We're pulling for her.
