Patsy Cline – September 2012 Country Music Birthdays

One of country music's most celebrated female vocalists would be 80 years old this month if she had not died in a plane crash in 1963. Patsy Cline's birthday is Sept. 8.

In August, the Patsy Cline: Crazy for Loving You exhibit opened up to celebrate Cline's legacy at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. 'Crazy' was also named the No. 5 song on a list of the Top 100 Country Songs of all time.
