Congratulations to Miranda Lambert and her all-girl group Pistol Annies, who just signed their very first record deal! Lambert very subtly shared the news with the crowd at Joe's Bar in Chicago on Thursday, June 23.

What was intended to be an hour-and-a-half long concert centered around the 'White Liar' singer's solo career quickly became a ladies night, as Lambert welcomed her friends and Annies mates Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley to the Windy City stage.

"We're the Pistol Annies, and it doesn't get more honest than that," Lambert said as she introduced her girls -- who played four tunes, including their debut single, 'Hell on Heels' for the audience. While the group's emergence has been slow coming, it's been a fast success, and people have yet to catch their breath from the ACM Girl's Night Out special back in April.

Perhaps the honesty of the trio that she mentioned is that, honestly, they're about to sweep the female country scene dry. Not only is Lambert already an award-winning success in her own right, and married to Blake Shelton, but the songs the Annies have brought along -- like 'Better Days,' 'Boys From the South' and 'One's Drinking, One's Smoking, One's Taking Pills' -- carry their own heavy weight.

"We got our very first record deal today," Lambert slyly told the eager crowd, adding that their first single will impact on iTunes next week. We can't wait to see what the Annies have up their frilly sleeves, but if we had to guess, we know they're about to become the hottest thing since, well, Miranda Lambert.

In other Lambert news, the singer is set to appear on the season finale of her husband's show, 'The Voice,' to duet with his last remaining competitor, Dia Frampton. Find out who wins and watch Lambert belt it out Wednesday at 8PM ET on NBC.
