Ronnie Dunn Renovates Airstream for Reba McEntire, Sets Up Perfect Reality Show Plot
Nothing says country like a renovated Airstream, and that's exactly what Oklahoma natives and country superstars Ronnie Dunn and Reba McEntire exchanged on Sunday (April 9).
Dunn, one-half of multi-platinum duo Brooks & Dunn, started working on an Airstream with friend Greg Vaughn last year, stripping it to just bare walls, a floor and a toilet. A year later, it's done. Vaughn & Dunn added Western-style curtains, a deer antler chandelier and plenty of wood paneling for a down-home country cabin feel.

The finished product is a sure highlight for travel enthusiasts, but no one is more excited than the trailer's owner, McEntire.
"I'm gonna pull it a little bit and then I’m gonna park it on my acreage out there close to the house," she tells Taste of Country when asked what she plans to do with it. "Right not too far from the lake where I can skeet and trap shoot and just camp out."
McEntire and Dunn have been friends for decades. They often battled back and forth on the country charts throughout the '90s and 2000s and reunited their music ties in 2015, when Brooks & Dunn joined McEntire for a lengthy residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The show, titled Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas, played a number of sold-out dates in 2015 and was extended into 2016 and 2017. Perhaps the Airstream can serve as the tour vehicle for their next Vegas show ... or a road-tripping reality show?
"Oh my gosh, we might kill each other," McEntire says, chuckling at the idea.
