Tanya Tucker – October 2012 Country Music Birthdays

One of the all-time great female voices turns 54 years old this month. Tanya Tucker will be celebrating on Oct. 10. It's hard to believe she's only 54 -- not because she looks old (she certainly doesn't) -- but because she's been making music since the early '70s.

It's been a few years since Tucker released new music, and no touring dates are listed on her website. The singer recently postponed a show in N.Y. for 'health reasons.' The December date was pushed to August 2013.
