The country singer was also a big supporter of the men and women in the Armed Services. In 2002 he began regularly performing overseas on numerous USO Tours entertaining troops in Afghanistan, Cuba, Djibouti, Guam, Iraq, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Kyrgyzstan, among others.

In his lifetime, he served on 18 USO Tours doing more than 300 shows in 17 different countries for more than 250,000 troops. It's no wonder the USO awarded him the Spirit of the USO Award.

How Did Toby Keith Die?

Keith singer passed away on Feb. 5, 2024 after a long battle with stomach cancer. He first revealed his diagnosis in June 2022. He was 62 years old when he passed.
