This year, resolve to listen to a lot of great country songs -- starting with our list of new songs on the radio for January 2012!

In preparation for their new album, which is due out in April, Rascal Flatts are warming up their fans with a new single. 'Banjo' stays true to its name and offers some stringed instrumentation, and with its pop-rock goodness it is a surefire way to get the party started at the Flatts' live shows.

Also new for January 2012, Clay Walker tells the bittersweet story of a rekindled romance with 'Like We Never Said Goodbye,' his first single in nearly a year. The song is a good way to follow up from the last, and while it's not 'new' (it hails from his 2010 album ‘She Won’t Be Lonely Long'), it's fresh to radio.

Don't miss out on Alison Krauss and Union Station's latest, 'My Love Follows Me Wherever You Go,' or newcomer Dustin Lynch's 'Cowboys and Angels,' either -- both tracks are worth their weight and will be hitting the airwaves with the rest of the new songs on the radio in January 2012.
