5 Acts We’re Most Excited to Hear on Pandora’s Stagecoach Livestream
The 2017 Stagecoach Country Music Festival features one of the hottest lineups of the year, and Pandora will be streaming the shows live. It's three solid days of country music, but there are a few artists country fans should be especially excited to hear.
Pandora has partnered with Goldenvoice for the exclusive audio livestream from Stagecoach, which is set to take place April 28-30 at Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. Performances will be available throughout the three days at pandora.com/stagecoachfestival. Rachel Whitney and Eric Shea, who curate Pandora's country, rock and Americana music, will co-host the exclusive station.
The massive lineup of country stars includes fan favorites Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell, Randy Houser, Maddie & Tae, Brett Eldredge, Kip Moore, Tyler Farr, Cam and many more, and fans can also look forward to exclusive artist interviews. With such a diverse lineup, there's something for every kind of country music fan, but the following artists are sure to be standouts.
William Michael Morgan
William Michael Morgan is set to perform on Friday, April 28, and the rising star is sure to turn in one of the most talked about sets at Stagecoach. Morgan is carrying the torch forward for traditional country music with his debut album, Vinyl, and he scored a No. 1 hit with his debut single, "I Met a Girl." His current single is "Missing." He turned in a strong set at the 2017 CRS New Faces of Country Music show that made it that much clearer he's a young artist on the rise.
Jon Pardi
Jon Pardi has come from out of nowhere over the course of the last few years to become one of the most exciting younger artists in the genre. In 2015 he scored a smash No. 1 hit with "Head Over Boots," and he repeated that success with "Dirt on My Boots" in 2016, establishing himself as an artist with a penchant for songs that stick in your head. He has just released a new single, "Heartache on the Dance Floor," and fans can expect to hear all of his hits at Stagecoach on Friday.
Maren Morris
Maren Morris was practically unknown a couple of years ago, and now she has country music by the tail. She saw one of the biggest breakthroughs in recent memory with her debut single, "My Church," which introduced fans to her soulful vibe and standout voice. Morris has already won CMA, ACM and Grammy Awards, and developed a habit of giving scene-stealing live performances on awards shows. All eyes (and ears) will be on her when she takes the stage at Stagecoach on Saturday, April 29.
Dan + Shay
Dan + Shay have been all over country radio in the past couple of years with their honey-smooth vocal harmonies and perfectly polished hooks, but as Taste of Country found out firsthand at the Ryman in Nashville, they're also exceptionally good live. The duo's live show marks them as an act with a big future, and Pandora listeners won't want to miss their Stagecoach set on Saturday, which will be packed with hits including "19 You + Me," "Nothin' Like You," "From the Ground Up" and more.
Thomas Rhett
Thomas Rhett may very well be one of the superstars who dominates the next decade of country music, and fans who can't be there in person won't want to miss Pandora's livestream of his Sunday night (April 30) Stagecoach set. The newly-crowned ACM Male Vocalist of the Year will bring his unique blend of country, pop and R&B influences to a show that will be wall-to-wall with hits including "Crash and Burn," "T-Shirt," "Die a Happy Man," "T-Shirt" and more.
