‘B’ Is for Garth Brooks – Top Country Artists A to Z

Why: The Top Country Artists A to Z list uses last names to decide each letter, partly because it was too difficult to decide between Garth Brooks, George Strait and Glen Campbell for the letter 'G.' Brooks owns 'B,' however. After a 15-year career that saw enough money earned in record and concert ticket sales to pay back the national debt, Brooks legend semi-retired. His music, rock n' roll style and acumen as a songwriter left a long legacy. He's still amongst the most played artists on the radio -- for very good reason. His music, in some cases even after 20 years, is still very important.
