Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s Anniversary: Reflecting on a Year of Highs and Lows
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Say 'I Do'
The couple gathered with a few hundred family members and famous friends to pledge their love to one another on May 14, 2011. It was a beautiful ceremony on a Texas ranch tailored to Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's love of nature and the outdoors. It was described as "country shabby-chic."
Lambert wore her mother's wedding dress, while guest performers included Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson and the bride herself. Many of these came during an impromptu karaoke session. Neal McCoy was the hired entertainer, and the guests dined on venison that Lambert and Shelton killed themselves.
Officially, Lambert is now Miranda Shelton as she took her husband's name. We'll always know her professionally as Miranda Lambert, however.
